America sweet America

Oh to be home again! Being back stateside now for about a month and I have been feeling the heat of reverse culture shock... 

the annoying tick of cell phone keys take over the more soothing sound of laughing friends, car horns and raging whistles bombard rush hour traffic, people gorge their figures with oil doused meals and flush it with down with carbonated beverages... the cultural differences are astounding and although I have spent my 24 years in the great nation of America-- my eyes were wide shut to the idiocracies we too often embrace.  having devoured a healthy dose of cultural China I can no longer ignore certain things. 

Oh America, how I love thee.

As the adjustment process continues, I find myself reading often and writing more than usual. The thoughts are flowing with a waterfall grace and I have more time than usual to pen them to paper.
