Skittles: America Mix Review
What I am reviewing here today is a share size bag of Skittles, America Mix flavored. Walmart is the highest likelihood of carrier, and/or Target. I was originally going to call this review because *spoiler alert* these things sucked, in my opinion. Being an avid anti-tropical Skittles person since conception, I was avert to many of these flavors. Nonetheless I will picture and review flavors one by one
So to start at the top, Strawberrry. It’s not quite like classic Strawberry, it’s a bit duller like someone made a light version of Strawberry. Usually I eat this flavor first out of the Classic Skittles but in this mix I was not impressed.
Next would be BlackBerry. This like the upcoming WildBerry taste like they were misplaced from a tropical package. These by themselves have an interesting taste, but in an unassuming handful they can nasty up the mix. It’s not quite grape not quite Blueberry but somewhere inbetween.
Yumberry is an interesting one. It has a good medium type berry flavor, more Raspberry in my opinion. The White coloring is interesting as that is usually only seen in the upcoming Pride Skittles which are technically colorless. For some reason this one reminds me of the Pop Tarts with the confetti sprinkles and strawberry filling.
Raspberry isn’t really my jam. It’s not bad but it tastes more like a candle than a candy. It’s flagrant, but lacking. Another one that doesn’t really mix well. The coloring is really dull on this one too.
Wild Berry is god awful. I just hate the tropical type flavors and this one topped the cake.
Overall I had a bad experience with this candy and in my personal barometer I would say these are going to end up as giveaways in the family mix bowl
Overall rating: 1.5/5
Pros~ Not too much to highlight. If you like Berry this might be your bag
Cons~ Flavor and coloring is dull. Seems like a revamped tropical mix. Cherry would of been the way to go
