someone on twitter said that an nbc person said the network changed their minds because they saw the passionate fan response and they “didn’t want to be on the wrong side of history” and i haven’t seen a proper source for that quote but given the reasons people were giving for why the show should keep going i would not be surprised if it were real and i’m dying
