Connor had been watching the fire for quite a while.  The pops and crackles of the wood and sparks almost mesmerized him as he reflected on everything happening in his life.  Only this time, he was not focusing on the strife, but rather, the positive things that had happened since he met her.  

"Hm?"

He gazed down for a moment to see Cerina's head in his lap.  SHe was fast asleep, a night of celebration had taken its toll on her.  He did not wake her, merely electing to allow her to rest as he played with her hair, running his fingers through her red tresses.
