Who is your most recent OC? And what is your favorite detail about them?

Pinpointing who my most recent in terms of creation is is a bit hard to pinpoint, so I’ll go with most recent in terms of working on details about them:

Alden.

A demonic man looking to create monsters with the power equal to the current demigod-like beings of the world: the Princesses. In this vein, he calls his successful monsters the ‘Princes’.

Most recent detail I came up with them is his relationship to the Prince of Bats, Piro, which takes on a more parental relationship than he usually would with his creations.

My favorite detail comes from the nuance in his character. On the surface, he’s your typical almost mad-scientist type looking to stake his claim as someone powerful among his demonic peers and others. However, as cold-hearted as he believes himself to be, his interactions with Piro prove that there may be some hidden depth that he himself doesn’t want to admit might be there.

I think one thing that helps a lot is to fake confidence until it feels natural. If you're telling yourself "my work is a waste of time" it FEELS like it's a waste of time. If you tell yourself "my work is good practice/will be awesome someday/etc" you'll feel more motivated to work? Just don't become your worst enemy!!

I feel like other people have also said this as advice…! and, i do try to have this attitude, and more confidence, but then I feel like I’m being rude and way too optimistic about my skill?

…maybe it is too late for that lol
