The patch is based on 3 VCAs being modulated by 2 LFOs while the cycling envelopes open and close filters while locked to the keyboard's gate. The main exploration was to explore different timings and uses of synced and unsynced  modulation sources.

Anyway, this music is great to slow your day down…block out all the “noise” and allow you to calm down. Hard to believe that this band was started by two guitarists.

NEW MUSIC/VIDEO: Danielle Fricke - The Well

Since the release of last year’s full length album Conversations, local bedroom folk band Snow Mantled Love decided to take a break from writing new music together to focus on solo projects. The first of those projects come from front woman and artist Danielle Fricke who puts her dreamy vocals to use in the powerful single “The Well.” The ambient and heart wrenching melody will appear on the upcoming LP by Fricke called Moon.

Along with the new track comes a video which doubles as a visual art piece. With fast cuts and close ups of the singer and cloudy, swirling or bubbling liquids.

NOTE: SML have not broken up and are still playing shows. Look for new material from them in the future.
