Hello, hope you had a nice day! May i ask for a spell that will make grow platonic, friendly bonds rather than romantic ones? I have searched for it a little bit but all i see is spells that include romance element heavily. Thanks for answering!
Hello, thank you dear! Of course! There is a lot of crossover when growing platonic and romantic bonds magically. In both cases you are increasing amiability and strengthening relationships.
There are a few ways you can approach this sort of working, and all will be affected by your end goals. Your course of action may also hinge on your current relationship with the person(s) and your proximity to them. Of course, the truest and strongest friendships are not those forged by magical manipulation; but I’m pretty sure you didn’t come here to read a Cosmo article on friendships in the time of Covid. Suffice to say, many of the methods below are useful for growing bonds, even without their magical components.

Here are a few ways to make friends:
Borage, crocus (preferably saffron crocus, but not necessarily), valerian, and cinquefoil. These herbs can be used many ways to procure friendship. If you are hosting this person(s) in your home, you could create a dinner centerpiece with some of these botanicals, or sprinkle some around the corners of the room where you hope to make your connection. The latter can be done in public as well. A cocktail made with borage syrup, and garnished with the flower thereof and some powdered saffron, is very efficacious for general mirth, laughter, and good conversation. You could also employ the herbs in a more ceremonial fashion if that’s your style: creating a honey infusion or incense with the herbs and combining them ritualistically with effects of the person. You could also spray a letter or envelope with an infusion of the plants, or suffumigate it with them, and send it to the individual. One method for general fortune, favor, and success was recorded by Kathryn Paulsen as such: “Take cold cream and mix with rose water and the feather of a swallow. Anoint yourself with this and all men will love you and be friendly. You will be able to prevent quarrels between all those you meet.”

Many magical books suggest timings for creating astrological talismans to this effect. I am no astrologer, but in looking at the few sources I have for scoping out such elective times for magic, I would perhaps pick the 17th of March 2021 for a semi celestial route (conveniently, also St. Patrick’s Day if you can use that as a cause for celebrating together) out of upcoming dates. For a simpler route, operating in the hour of Venus or Mercury on a Friday will also help your cause along. The general advice given in grimoires is to pick a time when the moon is in Taurus in the hour of Venus, or on the first Thursday after a full moon. There are of course a mountain of other factors to consider, but I’m not equipped to consider them for you.
I hope this is helpful!
