C (not bad). I mean, in terms of the actual in-game interaction it’s NOT BAD. It’s not a grand romance but she’s looking for… something… and he’s happy enough to try to provide it even though he knows she doesn’t love him and he’s sensible enough to not try to hold on to her when shit’s about to go down. I believe he loves her.

But damned if stuff like their respective portrayals in Cipher isn’t a turnoff when you have this ferocious muscle-bound dude of indeterminate age and this delicate little teacup princess who’s probably half his age and about 4′10″? Nope nope nope, go play house with Finn or Azelle, Lachesis.

IDK Sigurd’s the Lord and he’s special and stuff. He’s got a magic sword. Seriously IDK I just can’t rule it out.

But really Lewyn’s a poser and he’s got no boyfriends! Lex and Azelle have real chemistry. Dew and Jamke have their weird Chapter 5 convo. Senior Lord Trio have their eternal vows of friendship and whatnot. Finn’s got the Quan thing and his BFF back home. Lewyn has... a conversation with Sigurd, a fading crush on Annand, and Erinys and Silvia fighting over him.

Meanwhile Arvis has this clandestine affair with his right-hand-woman and no prominent male friends or allies or subordinates that ping my radar.

Ok now for some crack: first gen Arvis/Lewyn (before they have wives)

I view Gen1 Lewyn as one of the straighter guys in Jugdral (maybe would make an exception for Sigurd because, well, Game Hero and all that) and Arvis is Way Complicated and kind of disturbing TBH. Also I cannot imagine that hot-shit!Arvis of Gen1 would be remotely interested in slacker bard boy; Lewyn’s more likely to just irritate the piss out of him.

I’ve seen some fanart. It was nice art. Not buying the pairing.

Can’t tell you how awesome it is to open the mail and find two of the fanfics that mean most to you personally bound up in one volume like you’ve always wanted them to be, with cream paper and serif font and everything.

Yeah, so I commissioned a set of “Tir na Nog” and “Afterlife” together from @amielleon. That’s old school Naga on the front and Mila’s wing on the back. Sorry for the crap lighting, as that’s on me.

@amielleon: I finally ate one of those Kind Tomato gummy candies today. They are quite small, about the size of a playing die, and also quite sweet. If I didn’t know better I would think them apple-flavored.
