Sirius Black is a character I can’t fully hate, because like are you telling me the heir of an aristocratic family, trying to rebel against tradition and everything his heritage stands for, doing everything possible to piss off his Wicked Witch of the West mother, ends up terribly obsessed and attached to the richest boy in his house who is also the only one socially and economically on his level while at the same time tormenting, just as obsessively, the boy who’s completely beneath him in every social, economic, and family sense, to the point of not even considering him human??? It’s brilliantly ironic how he tries to be everything his family isn’t, yet ends up exactly like them and still believes he’s not like them in any sense lol Like how could I hate him? I could never hate a pathetic man.
