The Rose of Versailles Voice Cast

I feel like Antoinette is very close to me. I remember having read her story as a child. Three years ago I visited Paris. I had spent an entire day walking around Versailles on my own.

I feel there is a real tragedy in how she was once and as innocent and carefree as a sunflower, but before she has realized it, she has become a tragic queen.

I think the first part of the show, that depicts Marie Antoinette’s childhood, is important in that it will determine the impression people have of the character.

Because I have worked with her so many times I feel like I know her on every level. Antoinette has a carefree, innocent childhood and a purity where she is unable to hide her feelings, then as an adult she becomes troubled by love. It is a role with a wide range, but I believe she has acting ability to pull it off.

Of all the roles she has played so far, I can't think of a more perfect fit then Antoinette. Which is exactly why we need her and all her skills.

Nachi Nozawa

I actually have spoken to Riyoko Ikeda before, we were on a television program together once. At the time I hadn't read 'The Rose of Versailles', only the materials given to me by the staff. This time I do need to get the books, though buying shojo manga is embarrassing. I went with the manger, who is a woman, and had her buy them for me. I heard that the director is very strict and that anime fans can be very critical. Ah, I am anxious.

Nachi Nozawa, he is very experienced as everyone knows. Fersen is not only an important character because he is Marie Antoinette’s lover, but also because he was a real historical figure. As a classic leading man, Nozawa is the perfect choice for the role.

Nozawa is most known for dubbing Alain Delon, but he is also very experience with anime. He recently gave a strong performance as Jin Munakata in Aim for the Ace! It is good to have someone reliable to handle such an essential role.

Okay...but have we ever considered how powerful Kai Chisaki (Overhaul) would be as a hero????? I don't wanna put my personal opinion in there, but if he was raised right, went to UA, and became a hero, I think he'd be very high on the ranks. Maybe be #3 Pro Hero. I like to think about it sometimes.

He'd be so sweet with such a good outlook on life. He's definitely still a germaphobe, though, lol. I also like to think that Kai expands more on his quirk, which is what ranks him so high. He can heal himself and others faster, make it painless, move fire, move water, and maybe air too. Maybe he could best Endeavor, but I don't wanna go into that without more research and knowledge of Kai's quirk, lol.
