florence: how did you discover your favourite artist’s work?

oh god

since I don’t have a favourite artist in the sense of painters/visual artists I’ll reply with my favourite musical artist, which is Frank Turner (I just think he’s neat)

I ‘discovered’ him after someone I talked to send me a link to his song ‘Glory Hallelujah’ which I found hilarious for some reason and then I listened to that album (’England Keep My Bones’) and I absolutely loved it because it’s folk rock and folk punk and just him jamming on his guitar singing with his British accent and he’s got music for just about every mood.

These past few weeks were difficult: battling my own thoughts, trying to keep positive and ultimately failing and falling and then getting up again. I wrote this yesterday, when I finally started feeling a little bit better. Rendering my feelings in this form seems to bring me some solace, so... Have a nice day, everyone✨
