It's been interesting working in this new journal. I'm not used to premade tip-ins and tuck spots, so creating a spread around them has been a bit challenging. On the left page, I wrote about how this new journal of mine already has a history to it, as I used a lot of vintage German paper I got from @cayleegrey. I even included the tag she wrote my name on because it's just so lovely! On the right, where I've got that tip-in, I decided to write about trying gelatos for the first time. I had picked up two colors from Michaels, so I swatched them and documented that. They were in the clearance section for 97 CENTS, so naturally I went back and got myself a few more after I tried them out. I got eight of them for less than $8. Such a steal. I loved how these two colors matched that floral paper I used---which I got from a wallpaper magazine, so it must be a wallpaper somewhere. I'm going to see if I can hunt it down because it's too gorgeous!
