☕ Mori-Winslow Journal Entry - Day Two
Gameplay Journal [October 15th, 2025]
The second day with the Mori-Winslow household began before sunrise. Everette woke up around 4AM to check on the kids, quietly slipping through the house like he’s done this a hundred times before. After making breakfast, he kissed Ami after his shower and went for a jog around the neighborhood, like the man has his whole life figured out.
Meanwhile, Ami eased into her own morning rhythm: getting Rowan up for school, sharing breakfast with him, and then - finally - a moment to breathe with her morning coffee in her little nook.
Then came the whirlwind. Feeding Willow. Dressing Willow. Then dressing herself. (Because motherhood hierarchy, obviously.) Everette went down for a nap, but Ami got a surprise text from Sebastian that sparked a whole turn of events.
Apparently, Ami’s relationship with Sebastian and Marisol was in the red. When did that even happen?! I took it as a misunderstanding! New neighbors, maybe a rocky first impression, you know? But Ami decided to fix it the old-fashioned way: by making a fruit and chocolate platter for the Swift-Davenport household.
She packed Willow up and went next door.
Outside, she and Marisol had a surprisingly heartfelt chat before Ami and Willow were invited inside. And then... it happened. Willow finally met Amara.
😭 My heart! Just look at them. The two of them sitting together, tiny besties in the making. Evergrove’s girls. I’m so excited to see what kind of trouble, magic, and mischief life will bring them.
While Ami was busy reconnecting with the neighbors, I saw her suddenly get the Caregiver memory buff. (My heart. She really is such a natural.) But out of the corner of my eye… Willow. Making a mess in the Swift-Davenport entryway.
Ami’s buff literally seconds before said she was wondering about being lenient with Willow, and she marched straight over to give her a firm reprimand. 💀 I was howling. Willow pouted and glared daggers at her mom all the way home afterward. The attitude!
By the time they got back, Everette was outside still in his robe, cleaning the grill, while Rowan was home from school watching the Classics channel on TV. Everything felt calm again, like the soft exhale at the end of a long day.
And that’s where I left them: the Mori-Winslows tucked away for the night, another day of love, learning, and low-level toddler rebellion complete. 🌙
