So after bossaball, @sherminsoh and I almost ventured into badminton, but to no avail. So ended up we watched domestic helpers competing in volleyball games. We then shamelessly asked if we could join their warm up practice. Things people do when they are sick of chasing brunches at hipster cafes...

My bestie is happily married! To the greatest love of her life. CONGRATULATIONS!! I'M SO SO SOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU. I was more than happy to be part of the entire day plan, to be your maid and also as emcee of the lunch. To give you the support you needed, as well as to help out wherever possible. So nervous we were, but just for you we tried!! And the tears we shed for you on your march in, it was tears of mixed emotions (pardon me, you being the first to marry off among my friends I really have no words to describe that feeling we shared.) it was a complicated feeling.. something along this:
OMG MY BESTIE IS MARRIED!! WE GREW UP TOGETHER I WATCHED HER MATURE! *oh tears filling up, I'd better control* AWW~ SO LOVING! THAT'S THE SHOULDER SHE CAN LEAN ON NOW. THEY WILL LOVE EACH OTHER TILL ETERNITY. *damn it! TEARS, GET HOLD OF YOURSELF, FLOW. BACK. NOW!* WHOA I LOVE HER IT FEELS LIKE I'M MARRYING OFF MY DAUGHTER OHGOSH IS IT WRONG TO FEEL THIS WAY? *omgshit they can't be controlled.. sobs* Ohya, I still have emcee-ing to do.
You know, there about but with even more and overwhelming feelings.
Sometimes I look at you and think: Why the fuck do I love this retard? Maybe it was just being delusional and that I don't actually love her. This is when I know - when you love someone, you be genuinely happy for the great things happening to him/her even if it is completely unrelated to you. Even till today, my mood lightens up whenever I thought of your big day. Sorry if it seems idiosyncratic to anyone of you but I wasn't taught how to love before. But hey, don't everyone get to appreciate things every now and then?
