Amneris
The gold in the tomb is pure, so only for those with a pure heart.
Actually the most tragic romance is hoa is Amneris x Tutankhamun. Like from the few mentions of their story that we got from canon are:
Amneris was Tutankhamun lover
She stole the Cup from the Gods
She hid it in the Pharaoh' tomb
So its heavily implied that Amneris stole the Cup and said reason had something to do with Tutankhamun (terminal illness, selfish greed, idiots in love, is for you to decide)
Imagine Fabian singing this to/about Nina.
Or Robert to/about Louisa.
Or Tutankhamen to/about Amneris.
Grace Bumbry as Amneris in the Covent Garden Opera Company production of Aida, 1968 (Anthony Crickmay)
So by the end of Season 4 did Anchesamon want to make babies with Tutanchamun and Amneris Baby. I got that right?
And after Nienke liftet the curse. Why is Anchesamon taking the Infant. She looks at him like he is her son, knowingly she's gonna wait until he is sexually mature and to then fornicate with him. Couldn't they age him up? I know the tear is supposed to be a Baby. But this is weird. I mean... Did anyone question this back then? I only watched it like a year ago for the first time. And it gave me Twilight flashbacks with Jacob and that Resume CGI Baby. She just wants Tut and Amneris child to fertilize her.
I mean she married her brother so. And now she's planning on having babies with her nephew.
She just waited all those years for Tut and Amneris love child to knock her up? 💀
Mezzos keep stealing the spotlight during Aida, and we love them for that ❤❤
Is this how the gods reward the faithful through the ages? Forcing us to prove that all the hardest things we've done are easy, so easy And though I'll think about him until the earth draws in around me And though I choose to leave him for another kind of love There is no denial, no betrayal, but redemption Redeemed in my own eyes and in the pantheon above
