Amnesia Later: Toma

Hey guys and Merry Christmas! What good are family get togethers if not to play otome games! I finished Tomas route today and I have a few things to say.

Firstly I tried to approach this story with comedy in mind. I know Toma is some people's favorite, but I couldn't get through this route without laughing and cracking some jokes. After what happened in the first game I cannot take Toma seriously and keep my sanity.

Tomas route was something special. I did not imagine him to try and take accountability in his own weird way by telling Shin about the abuse he did upon MC. He deserved that punch 100%. I thought it was funny that he invited Shin in afterwards and they ate together. Just like old times. I might not like Toma but I enjoy the friendship him, Shin, and MC share.

MC is way too forgiving. I can't believe she forgave Rika and the club after what happened to her. Not only that but what Toma did to her also. Mc is usually a pushover but it's very bad in this route.

I love the domesticity in this route, I love that they live together throughout this route. I find it to be very realistic too. Maybe not to most but I move fast and love to move in right away. I can relate to MCs need to be around Toma often. I also am needy!

Overall this route is much better than the original Amnesia routes. Toma is much mote tolerable in this and I can see his appeal. However I will never forgive him for what he did to MC in the first game. It's almost brushed to the side in this game too. But it is what it is haha.

Amnesia Later: Ukyo

Hello everyone! I finished Ukyos route this morning before work. It was a brief but beautiful experience. This fandisk is not as long as the main game. But that's okay. There's so much content to be had here. And the content is high quality.

The the story following the end of the game is really good, Ukyos ending to Later is seamless. And nothing is left to question. You really get to feel how much Ukyo loves you, and that's the main part.

The beginning of Later where you are searching with fireflies with Ukyo was very cute. I can't believe he fell in the lake haha. Ukyo really is an airhead in the best ways. I love how spacey he is. I relate so hard! In so many ways.

That being said, Ukyo might be my new favorite LI. He is sweet, caring, and careful. He worries about MC alot, it's just like the last game where it gets out of control sometimes.

One of the main plot points in this game is Ukyo and his amnesia. Ukyo has dissociative identity disorder, and from someone who also has DID... I would say it does a decent job? I don't like the the "violent" alter thing. But I think the way they handle loving the alter is exactly how people should do it. MC wanting to love Ukyos other alter is great... also I love this CG haha.

I liked the ending where MC was wearing a wedding dress and Ukyo ran away with her! It was a very cute ending, and I hope that Crowd will have another cute ending. The love between MC and Ukyo is strong.

That's all my thoughts on the route!

Amnesia Later: Shin

I'm not dead yet! I finished Shins route this morning. This one felt longer than Ukyos route, but it might be because I played it over several days. That being said let's see if I remember everything...

I personally don't remember how Shins route ends and begins again in this story. For me its basically like they were dating now, weren't the last game. But what is most noticeable is the behavior shin portrayed in both games. Hes... very pushy.

Shin is one of Amnesias many problematic LIs. He is pushy with MC and forces her to kiss him and get intimate (not sexually) with him several times. It's actually a huge plot point in this story. Where MC does not want to kiss / be intimate with Shin because it makes her heart hurt. Shin took a while to understand it and get accustomed to it. Going slower... it's actually refreshing to see him not overpower her time and time again.

I find that Shin at the end of the game is desirable. (And in this CG above I understand how attractive he is) Shin at the end of the game is softer, more kind, and more loving. I love him getting embarrassed over Mine and Sawa talking to MC about Shin.

I totally forgot we got engaged! It's crazy, I wasn't expecting that after Ukyos story not ending in an engagement. I thought it was very cute that they used Shins mothers wedding band.

This is the end of the review. I wanted to mention that my computer blew up :'). I no longer have a computer to play on so its time to play more otome on my switch until I make enough to build a new pc. I'm hoping to buy Hakuoki on my switch! So expect that soon.

I'm unsure if im going to continue playing Later X Crowd. So we will see what I decide.
