Anytime there’s an otome game where the true end wraps up the other love interests’ plotlines, I wonder why the game didn’t just have one route. (Looks at Collar Malice, Code Realize and Tengoku Struggle Strayside)
Here's all my physical otome games for my switch! The Diabolik Lovers game actually has 2 games in 1 so I have 9 but I also have a digital copy of another otome game. So I have 10 otome games on my switch.
But all together I have 13 otomes as I have 2 on my PS vita, and one on my PC.
The idea of new otome games popping up but not being able to customize my mc.
Like..bitch keep that shit to yourself don't irritate me 🙄 suggesting otome games where the Mc is pale and boring looking. Be GONEEE.
Light and night is having a hong Kong themed banner and I appreciate the aesthetic. But they had the original voice actors speak lines in Cantonese and it was not it 😭 I wish they'd just hire Cantonese speaking voice actors for that event although I'm guessing it would sound weird for people who were used to the official Mandarin voice actors already
I love when otome has gameplay in otome games. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the visual novel format that a lot of otome "games" have but also I also enjoy when there is gameplay. Obey Me 1 and 2, LADS, and Lovebrush Chronicles are examples of actual otome games. As much as I enjoy the examples I've listed obviously I don't want to always play gacha games (I do not want to keep gambling to get my fav twink) to experience both romance and gameplay. That's why I am very pleasantly surprised when Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly has gameplay. I really hope that there will be more otome games (non-gacha ones) with different gameplay genre like battle strategy for example. I'm not implying that all otome games should have gameplay as I know there are people who don't want that, but I do where there were options for people who want romance and gameplay to be there in the otome game genre. Even if there is more focus on the otome aspects of the game than there is gameplay I'd still be happy about that.
