The way Lapp talks to us, and by that I mean both the cadence of his voice and how outwardly kind he is toward us, honestly reminds me of Solaire in many ways.

This of course means I now have even more fuel to my headcanon fire of Patches having genuinely admired Solaire when he met him in DS1, ruined his chances with him beyond repair, and still regrets it even all these thousands of years later T_T
