Miriel was someone very admirable. She remembers fondly that Miriel would make her way around people’s tents, gathering information, or perhaps sitting through someone else’s training.
While the dancer herself has never approached or ever had the slightest deepest conversation with Miriel, she could still admire her from a distance. The intelligence that Miriel carried was precious, and was greatly appreciated from the dancers part.
Olivia was off into the woods to gather some firewood for the campfire later on, and in the distance she saw a figure with cloth that was dark, and a pointy hat. She had thought it could be an enemy, but she recognizes the notebook and the feather.

he saw the mage approach. Their eyes hadn’t met, so there
was still a chance she hadn’t seen him, right? She couldn’t be
that perfect. He only hoped Miriel wouldn’t come after him.
He had already finished his training for the day, and he wasn’t
sure he could handle another five-hundred reps.
“Miri!” Picks up his nerd wife in a big ol’ bear hug, spinning her around happily before giving her a smooch and placing her back on the ground. “I feel like I haven’t seen ya in forever!”

Laurent: Ah, Mother. May I have a moment?Miriel: Of course, Laurent.Laurent: In the future you had a veritable compendium of manuscripts... All your experiments and observations you had written down.Miriel: Yes, I have a few similar books presently.Laurent: I was curious if... Well, I only managed to save three of them from my time, given the atmosphere of the time. It's a meager fraction of the knowledge you imparted but... I wanted to return them to you. It feels wrong to hold onto them, knowing you could keep them just as well.Miriel: Hm. A chance to peruse my own knowledge that I've not yet gained? What a fascinating paradox.Laurent: I thought the same. Allow me to go fetch them for you!

Miriel: There you are Laurent.Laurent: You were looking for me? Have you been able to read the manuscripts yet?Miriel: Not quite. I wanted to discuss the previous battle.Laurent: Wh--Oh. Oh.Miriel: Let me see your shoulder.Laurent: Mother, that won't be necessary, I've already had it looked at.Miriel: Is that so? Then all I have to do is tell you to never, ever take an arrow for me again. Is that clear?Laurent: I-- Y-yes ma'am.Miriel: Good. I'd hate to see my little man injured. Again.Laurent: I'm sorry, Moth-- W-wait! Pardon?!

Laurent: Mother, I wanted to apologize formally for the other day.Miriel: ...Laurent: It was a rash decision of me, I shouldn't have acted. You know how to handle yourself. I was just afraid of...Miriel: ...Laurent: R-right, yes. Regardless, I... Mother, are you listening?Miriel: Laurent... I apologize if my scolding caused undue anxiety. I felt... awful seeing you hurt in my place. All the data I've collected suggests that it is the mother's job to take the proverbial arrow for their children. I understand your actions, but I still don't approve. Allow me to protect you next time.Laurent: M-mother... Ah, blast...Miriel: You needn't hold your tongue around me, Laurent. I am your mother, after all.Laurent: Y-yes, you're right...Miriel: Don't fret, I know just what will cheer you up. I've been skimming those manuscripts of my other self, and I predicted a few things but omitted any notes of experiment. I'd like to pursue these topics, but I'm afraid I might need assistance.Laurent: You don't mean you'd ask me for help?Miriel: You're the only one I would ask for help, Laurent. Care to assist your mother in unraveling the multitudinous secrets of our world as we know it?Laurent: I'd love nothing more!
