WHAT TO DO ABOUT THE ANNOYING OUTLINE IN BUILD MODE CAMERA
Since the Dream Home Decorator update, if you use the build mode camera from TwistedMexi you’ll notice instead of your cursor just highlighting objects it passes over so they’re a little bit lighter, it also puts a great big white line around them too. This is a nightmare if you’re taking lots of screenshots in build mode, which a lot of builders and cc creators do.
You can just point your camera in the opposite direction, hover your cursor over something there, and then move the camera back round, but you can’t click to make the camera static, and keeping your composition becomes difficult. And that method is a particular pain if you’re taking more than one picture, because you have to keep doing it.
There is a workaround though. Before you press tab to go into the build mode camera, change to the eyedropper or design tool. Then you can go into the camera mode and there are no more ugly white outlines! Objects will still go a tone or two lighter when you place your cursor over them, but that was always quite easy to deal with before, and it still is.
