They are stationed on Polus. Tangerine has been working at Outpost Polus for 3 years now, they liked it because of how remote it was. It allowed them to be someone else there and not be known as “Sunrise”
Mint was transferred to Polus from Mira HQ, to help with the plant life. Mira kept having Botanists quitting on them due to the fact that Polus is pretty much deemed a dead planet.
Mint wasn’t a fan of how far the job was, White was Gutted and even Green showed quite disdain for it. Especially since Unlike other imposters, Vipers are infact cold blooded and the harsh weather on Polus was no place for vipers.
Btw would anyone be interested if I wrote this as a fanfiction, because I also would draw it as a comic, after the Lime comic, but the problem is just how much I seem to struggle with drawing comics.
That’s only if anyone would actually be interested though because I can’t imagine how many people would be that interested in oc’s over cannon characters. But I thought I’d ask.
Going a bit crazy over among us ocs…. Team Polus….
This Polus outpost is primarily a research location, but not a lot of people are willing to brave the cold and the heat if they’re not a little insane. Because of this, the crew ends up pretty tight knit. Even so, it’s hard for nothing to go wrong on a research outpost….
As the visual snow fades, it reveals an empty room… although not for long. Soon enough a figure walks in, a very wolflike bean bundled up for the weather.
“Ugh… the snowstorm’s getting worse… hopefully I finally patched this thing up, it’s been ages since I-”
The figure stops midstep, visor widening as they focus on the camera - or at least something near its lens.
“Wait, that light’s on… it was off before. Does that mean?- Did I actually manage to-??”
With a whooping cry of excitement and relief, they dart to the keyboard, tail wagging wildly as their visor shines bright. Clearly, they’re excited!
“HA!! HAHAHA, YES!! Finally!!! Stars above, I’ve been fistfighting this stupid Comms issue for at least a week now!!!”
“Okay. Alright. Cool it, deep breaths… make a log. Okay. Alright.”
They visibly lean away, taking a few breaths and slowing their tail as they launch into an explanation.
“This is S’more, only remaining bean at Polus Outpost 44. Comms have been down for, let me check real quick… right, ten days. My only coworker, Cress, took the station’s single snowspeeder and left in the middle of the night during day 3 of the outage. They were the uh… mechanic and engineer out here. I’m just a geology nerd with a degree, I’m not the greatest with electronics… hence the, ‘taking so long to fix it’ issue.”
“… fuck, I need to contact MIRA don’t I. Aaugghh… alright, okay, cool. S’more, signing off. End log. … End log. End the fucki-”
The transmission cuts short as the apparently-named S’more finally hits the right button. What an odd character…
