This time ft. Theodora & Viktorian interacting (Genderbent Tobey & Victoria). Plus minor ToBecky. Or ToBenny.
REALLY wanted to do this comic so I decided to do it for this magma for some reason.
BTS notes: I actually wanted Theo to punch Viktorian in the groin, then glare down at his curled up body with a scowl and cuss him out while shaking her hand off… but I thought that might be too much for the WG magma. And if Theo did that, she’d be acting out of character since that would be more of a OG!Theo move rather than a 2P!Theo move.
I WILL flesh out 2P!Theo & Victoria’s relationship dynamic officially some time! I’m just… really bad at deciding what to draw and stuff.
Anyway! This was super fun even tho I am SUPER TIRED. (Literally sped ran the magma the other night until like 6 am or something before a massive birthday party celebration in the afternoon DESPITE the fact that my WiFi went down AND my apple pen died, so I was drawing with my finger at the last couple panels while waiting for the pen to recharge🙏 unhealthy, I know. But i needed to draw it otherwise it would just fester in my brain like a parasite.)

I think… I think I’m about to write an entire fan continuity for the among us show…
And by “about” I mean I’m already writing the concepts/ideas.
I have Season 4 & 5 semi-planned but I can’t share the summaries for those cause they’re still a work in progress… and they also kind of have spoilers for what I have planned in store.
Lazy & Purée still use They/Them. I know there's no such thing as "cis-women" in the among us universe since all of the crewmates are agender... But the joke wouldn't be half as funny if I didn't mention the unfairness in wages for women IRL in the already dystopian classist system of Among Us, so humour me.
I’ve never posted what my design for my Bestie looks like on socials so… Yes, her design is meant to be like a gorgon’s – This design is present in the design I have for her in general. Her (not real) name is Pearl.
To elaborate on picture 2 – Spoilers for the Among Us Show since I'm gonna mention character death↓↓↓
Purée gives up the way Brown does in the Among Us Show after Yellow is wrongfully accused and ejected. There's no good existing example on how Lazy responds to Purée dying, but just know that if Purée dies, Lazy would try to get everybody – including themself – killed REGARDLESS if Lazy is an Imposter or not.
The last post did surprisingly really well despite me rushing to finish that among us competition entry… (by the way!! If the contestants who competed see this, I hope you know that the art you all made were awesome!!! AND GIVE ME YOUR @ SO I CAN COMMENT, LIKE, REBLOG, FOLLOW)
Anyway! I wanted to show the Among Us characters individually because I struggled with them (not literally “struggled” like it’s hard, I struggled because I HATE CONSISTENCY.) So here we go:
Can you guess who ended up being my favourite to draw? (Spoiler: it was NOT Green. MF’s hat pmo.)
Also, yes, Lime was definitely one of the ones I had the most fun drawing. (They were the most eccentric so it was definitely a good change of pace compared to the other characters who are more chill)

From right to left starting from White to Orange, jump to Cyan to Black — these are the characters who died in order.
The alien tendrils at the bottom point to WHO the imposters are, but the one CLOSER to the character (Green) implies who lives the longest. (I might’ve not done a good job conveying that tho-)

This one isn’t really an Easter egg, it’s just kinda fun to see… But the banner that says “WE’RE NoT DEAD”… Green and Orange low-key look like they mirror the “NoT” part with the trust ball between them. It also becomes more fun when you realise that same “NoT” is the ONLY part that gets the blood splatter — which could also represent the imposters with the crew’s blood on their hands.
Another not really an Easter egg if you don’t really see it — Red, Purple and Green are the only ones who have their visors mostly obscured. Green’s, however, is only somewhat obscured — hinting how Green lives long but not as long as Purple or Red.

I wanted to try a new angle for the drawing? But I didn’t quite get it… That’s fine tho, I liked how it turned out even if I didn’t get the whole drawing I was hoping for.

The song’s vibes is the closest I can describe Tobey’s beginning arc for Vol.3: WORDGIRL! Teen Spirit after the events of Vol.2: BOY GENIUS! Chaos Theory. One of these days, I do want to make an animatic!
I kinda wanna redo Brown’s design but I don’t know what I want yet, guess I’ll figure out their design at some point.

I think this is important especially since the LGBTQIA+ community is a VERY big community, and yet, people tend to only focus on the “recognisable” ones.
It’s not a bad thing! Nobody is saying the characters aren’t non-binary, but Agender is more fitting.
On a side note, I saw some people getting upset that artists are drawing the characters with masc or fem characteristics rather than completely androgynous, but masc and fem traits are social constructs in itself. Anyway, not everyone who identifies as agender or non-binary will be perfectly androgynous or genderless; it doesn’t make them any less agender or non-binary.
