Clearly, this is the first film I’ve seen from Trinidad, hopefully not the last. I went in knowing only three things about the Caribbean island:

It is a strange little place located right off the coast of Venezuela

It is mostly populated by Asians and Black people.

It’s got a whole lot of racism going around.
