omg I don't have my comics file on my new computer rip but this is my favorite Thor Lore and not enough people use it!!!! It depends a little on who's writing but Loki has tried to force Sif to marry him 3 times if I recall correctly and the general comics reason for the haircut is that he is jealous of her and thor and wants to break them up (jealous of her stealing thor's attention vs jealous of sif giving her attention to thor depends on author) Loki very much has a thing for a her in the comics and she FUCKING HATES HIM

I love that Thor and Sif are Perfect Stalwart Loves meanwhile Sif and Loki are like. one fight away from killing each other and trying not to let Thor know lmao

Lol nooo it’s ok. The first season was very much foundational. Lauren Hissrich, the showrunner, wanted to incorporate Yennefer and Ciri from the start of the show DESPITE the stories revolving heavily around Geralt. So, s1 uses prequel stories to help establish the characters and their reputations before they meet. There’s decades between their stories together so the show had to move more quickly (For ex, Yennefer starts at 14 and has lived through gens of royalty by the time she meets Geralt).

not remotely as bad! tbh the animated film is barely recognizable as a GBG adaptation?? the bare bones plot points are the same but the identity of the ripper is different, there’s no selina, no harvey beyond one mention, no batkids, i think no gordon? they literally just wrote up this story out of nowhere to draw it out for the hour and a half runtime

the comic is a LOT simpler and more predictable, but at least it works as a contained story,,, and the mignola art is leaps and bounds better than the basic job they did for the movie. Sad

Ever since the At Stranger Tides press tour, I’ve been aware of his age so his casting is weird. I didn’t expect either of the characters to play younger than 35 but idk the books. I guess he “looked” the part. I also wonder if they’re de-aging Henry/Sherlock here. Idc, both their hairlines speak for themselves

yeah i dont really understand the aesthetic either but again, it looks like the talented mr ripley. 

why must we make up these terms? just be honest and say ‘my look is inspired by the talented mr ripley’
