On this day...
in 1994, the X-Men episode Beauty & the Beast aired. In this episode. The F.O.H. (Friends of Humanity) rear their collective ugly head again by going after Beast at a clinic for the blind. Beast falls for a blind patient there named Carly. Carly's dad, like the F.O.H., hates mutants. You see where this is going, right? Anyway, Beast goes uncharacteristically wild while Wolverine goes stealth mode infiltrating the F.O.H. by pretending to be one. There he comes across an old enemy. Meanwhile, Magneto and Professor X struggle in the Savage Land. It's one of the sadder episodes, so be forewarned.
This episode also marks the animated debut of Amphibius.
