#736.5 - Hoping to avoid detection by bird Pokemon, Grubbin often gather near power plants and in places frequented by electric Pokemon, where they use their big jaws to dig nests into the forest floor. Besides burrowing, their long mandibles are also useful for extracting sap from trees and fending off predators. As Grubbin age, their exoskeleton expands around them, creating a stout, protective shell that shields their soft innards as internal changes begin to take place. Exposure to electricity from a young age has sparked the production of their own electric sac.
#737.5 - Charjabug are slow moving Pokemon that bury themselves in fallen leaves, munching away on humus. Their digestive process converts the foliage they eat into electricity, and an electric sac in their belly stores the electricity for later use. Charjabug need to consume many calories each day, as they need a lot of energy for the transformation that is happening inside their durable shell. Once their internal metamorphosis is complete, they will only emerge from their shell once they have been exposed to a powerful electrical source, which grants them the energy to burst free. Newly emerged Vikavolt cannot yet fly, and must defend themselves with their electric powers. Their impressive mandibles grow with age.
