Gave #TyphoonToby a reread this week with his brand new cover. This character breaks my heart and makes me laugh at the same time. It’s tough when you know exactly what you are doing that’s wrong, even in that minute, and yet because of your past, you do it anyway, then immediately know it’s going to cause pain... why do we do this to ourselves? I wrote Toby this way because “counselor, heal thyself” is something we frequently hear in our field, and yet we know what we’re doing is wrong... Oy.
