So basically, scammers got my account. Amukruk was a side blog and they permanently deleted it! Tumblr support was able to return me my main, which is wonderful, and now we are starting all over again (*´∇｀)ﾉ Since my side blog doesn't exist anymore I was able to use that URL for the main one. This situation is kinda sad, but I feel optimistic since I was already thinking that I need a fresh start to introduse my ocs properly, and here's my chance!
Now ABOUT THE PHISHING, because awareness is super important!! May be if I was prepared I could've avoided such losses.
Tumblr is still a new platform to me and I never interacted with it's support team before, nor was familiar with the common scam tactics, so when I got a comment, stating that they have some important information about my account but couldn't dm me for some reason, I didn't suspect a thing. I DMd the user and they said they accidentally reported my account, sounding all worried and constantly apologizing. The send me a screenshot of a mail from tumblr support, stating that my account will be terminated. To save it I must message the tumblr employee responsible for this case via discord as soon as possible. They insisted twice on showing this guy the code number of the case mentioned in the email. I did as they told me, and the "employee" reassured me, that everything is ok, they just need to verify my account to be sure, that I actually own it. To do that I just need to temporarily change my email linked to the account to the one they'll send me. REAL TUMBL SUPPORT WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO CHANGE YOUR EMAIL OR PASSWORD.
so yeah. Don't be dumb like me and be prepared! Brain fills in all the blanks for the scammers! I noticed so much suspicious things during the whole thing, but brushed them all off: "Hm, why they didn't say what's wrong right in the comment? - Oh, they must be just shy, like me" (NO THEY ARE NOT SHY, otherwise they would be exposed in scam by others immediately!), "Why they couldn't dm me? - Oh, there's always been problems with that since it's my side blog, I'll just write them from my main" (NO I LITERALLY HAD A CHAT WHERE MY SIDE BLOG WAS DMD FIRST -BEFORE MY EYEEEES-, THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS WITH THAT) And now the dead giveaway: "Why there's a profile picture from my main account in this support team letter, when the user spoke to my side blog? - Oh, they must've decided to message to the most active blog from the two" (like, girl, WHAT. NO THEY WOULD'VE MESSAGED THE ONE THEY HAD PROBLEMS WITH) and so on...
I was messaged by janjanbaliw213 on Tumblr (this blog has drawings and reblogs, so i think it was also stolen some time ago) and by officialelitucker01 on discord. I reported the discord one and now it completely changed, but i can't report janjanbaliw213 because all evidence was lost with the side blog...
I'm so dumb, but so polite 🤣 "mr Tucker"...... Fascinating (。ﾉ-∀-)
