We shouldn't have gotten over Graham Folger and Amy Patel so quickly guys like creepy ass neighbour who's gay so slightly less creepy and you start watching him and suddenly he gets replaced by someone who has his name but isn't him and you just gotta fucking live with that??? oh also he ate a bunch of his notebooks. what.
"in the end it was more of a hobby, not an obsession."
*casually drops every detail of her neighbors life she ever witnessed in perfect detail*
Amy Patel is a hungry little eye monster.
TMA What We Know -[3]- Across The Street
pre-statement:
[none]
--STATEMENT--
-mysterious force pushes Amy into the road?? and that isn't even the point of the episode?? girl can we circle back to that??
-doesn't help that you've got a traumatic head injury right before you start seeing the spooky things. rip amy, first guy was drunk second guy was on drugs, I see why Jonathan doesn't believe any of you.
<-Amy sees the suspicious 'hooks' on the window right after her head injury
-graham has a very fascinating table. he had the table for many years, at least a decade.
-graham is making an active attempt to be watched, implying that he 1-knows that he's in danger, and 2-knows that the cause of this danger would be deterred by someone watching him
-graham's assessment seems to be correct, he isn't harmed while amy is actively watching him
-spooky creature here looks like a drainage pipe on a building. very long limbs. flexible enough to pull itself through an apartment window from the street below.
-notGraham wears graham's clothes. it doesn't come ready-made with its own clothes, or if it does, the clothes are the one aspect that perfectly resembles the original
-Amy's classmates 'don't remember [graham] at all'-- the phrasing makes it sound like they don't remember having a classmate named graham (as opposed to simply not remembering what he used to look like), so take that as you will. maybe notGraham is slowly weathering away the memories people had of graham, and people who weren't close with him now don't remember he existed in the first place. maybe decades down the line, his closest friends won't remember he existed.
or maybe amy doesn't know what she's talking about, or maybe her classmates don't like her and they're lying to her. plenty of options.
post statement:
-Tim got Amy's medical records (<- may or may not be 'using institute funds to woo filing clerks'), records claim she doesn't have that Sort of brain injury. <-doesn't seem very medically accurate but I'll let that slide <- girl you can hallucinate from just. sleep deprivation alone. you don't even need traumatic brain injury for that one.
-Amy refuses followup interview, Sasha told Amy the institute located Graham's journals*, Amy didn't care
*journals have 'keep watching' written in them ad nauseam. assuming this is a plea to Amy to keep watching him.
-Graham existed, photos of him show notGraham, polaroids show real Graham
Bringing back this series hi. Trying to do a proper relisten of the series, so have the first 4 episodes of TMA posters. Hopefully manages to do all the episodes of the first season 🤞

Statement of Amy Patel, regarding the alleged disappearance of her acquaintance Graham Folger.
“When I say moved, that’s not quite right. It shifted. Like when you stare at one of those old magic eye paintings and you change from seeing one picture into seeing another.”
