Iwtv is the only book with real substantial plot. The next two or three are just Lestat saying “LOOK AT ALL THIS FUCKED UP SHIT THAT HAPOENED TO ME THE OTHER DAY. Isnt that crazy??? I just cried for 48 hours straight and I miss my mom. I’m super hot and everyone wants me also btw. What if I killed myself.”

Sometimes season one Jon kind of sounds like when a trans guys voice first starts to properly drop and he’s trying as hard as he can to make it deeper than it actually is and he’s convinced he sounds super cool and manly but actually he just sounds like a middle school boy doing a batman impression
