one of my sonic frontiers gripes with Amy's part of the story is that they had the right formula, it just didn't really. mix? what makes Amy such a good character is how loving and utterly kind she is, so it would make sense for her to want to go and spread love. but the way it was done just felt kinda. There. it wasn't fully elaborated on, nor did she share her ambition in achieving her goal.
she's so good that she makes villains reconsider their morals, but she's also short-tempered and sassy. there can be a balance, and it would've been cool for that to be explored more. she loves adventure nearly as much as sonic, and that's part of why he can't keep up with her, so maybe it could've been she wants to spread love on adventures of her own. she hasn't really been too much of the damsel in distress trope lately, but.. having to be saved in this game could've been an opportunity for her to want to get stronger to spread more love, you know? she wants to come back and be an equal, kind of like Tails.
man. i would really love for a Amy spin-off game. that's it, that's the thought.
