So I had a few chapters to catch up om my Amy-love's serial What Does Your Smile Say About You? It's available on JukePop, for those interested in following along, and I'm absolutely loving the latest chapter.
The story follows several young women who are active, or almost active, in Summit University's Greek Life. The characters are fun and real and it helps that they're based loosely on people that we knew in school and ones kinda sorta based on me. I highly encourage following the story, and giving it votes to keep the new chapters coming!

Okay, no lie, I had to sleep on this. BUT! I came up with a fun character! She's a dragon, okay, all long and slim and green and brown mottled, because she's a forest dragon and that's where she does her stuff. And her stuff is protecting princesses. She's part of a clan of dragons that work with an oracle to protect princesses from all over the world. When a princess is in danger of an unhappy or arranged relationship, magic notifies the oracle who then assigns the girl to a dragon and transports her to the appropriate location. There the dragons work with the princesses to give them the keys to a happy life.
My dragon, Kira, has been doing this gig for a long time. She's one of the older dragons working this job, and she loves it (old being a relative term here, of course). Several of her former charges have gone on to become outstanding queens in their respective home countries! Kira also has a human form, which she uses to help guard the princesses and teach them useful skills.
Guess what I bought tonight? Seriously, guys, go give my Amy-love's books a chance. She's got 2 novellas out (this and it's predecessor, Jaclyn of the Lantern) and one novel (the amazing, wonderful girls-in-baseball story The Legend of League Park). I only just got Bethania's Broomsticks, but it's a winter story for sure, and perfect for the weather we're having.

I realize as I write that I can't make every apartment in my fics look like the Loft. That was an incredibly unique space and people will get pissed if I try to give characters special snowflake living spaces. Even though I've LIVED in those unique spaces.
