It’s actually rather poetic that Artemis and Apollo spared 2 of Niobe’s children, since she bragged about saying she had more children than Leto. It’s like them saying “here now you’re on the same level”.

So considering the version where Amphion commits suicide due to the grief of losing his family plus the version where his children Chloris and Amyclas survive, do you think maybe he tried to stay strong for his children? Tried to stay alive for their sake especially bc they’re also grieving? But just couldn’t handle the pain anymore so he sent them to live with their uncle Pelops so he’d take his life without them being present?
Y’all think that Pelops and Hippodamia adopted Chloris and Amyclas?
