The Carrow family was a ghoulish breed. The lot of them had been bred on violence. Their family history was nothing but a sheet of wars, either between the wizarding world and everyone else or among themselves. It was a wonder the family name survived as long as theirs had; then again, ruthlessness got you places. And the Carrow twins were born on a predicted blood moon- practically fighting themselves free of their mother. Amycus came first, a bellowing cry followed his exit from the womb. It is said that how a person comes into the world will determine who they are in later life. He proved this day in and out- often taking the lead in whatever was tasked of him. Whether it be to bring his sister down for dinner, or in training that began as soon as they could comprehend what it meant to fight. His father wanted his son to rise in the ranks of their family name, and in the ranks of the Death Eaters, just as he had within the clutches of Grindelwald’s army. Survival was ingrained into the DNA, how they survived was a learned behavior that was ground into them every second of every day. They were not children as much as they were soldiers bred for war. And all the twins had was the other, for better or worse. Upon their entrance into Hogwarts and the Slytherin house, they wasted no time establishing their position. Over the years, they grew harder. Stronger. Faster. Darker. Of course, outward appearances left quite a lot to the imagination. It had to. No one could know who they were beneath the mask they donned every morning. Their professors praised them, their classmates gravitated toward them. Everything they did under watchful eyes was to deceive those around them into thinking they were a perfect pair of angels on earth. This did not stop them from creating chaos at night when there was no one around to see. When it came to their graduation and chosen professions, Amycus made the decision for both of them. Unspeakables. Voldemort would appreciate more pull in the Ministry, and access to the deepest secrets within the fold would certainly go over well. His aim lies in the destruction of the muggle world, and he understood that it takes more than a few meager souls with barely any ambition. They needed more than the clout that their names gave them, and luckily for the pair, they had everything to back them up.
ALECTO CARROW -- His twin, his other half and the only person that Amycus trusts. There is nothing that he wouldn’t do for her and nothing that he can’t do with her. They’re a deadly combo together.
ANTONIN DOLOHOV -- Besides his sister Antonin is the only person who has ever seen his potential and encouraged him to harness it. They meet biweekly to train on things that will only make him more lethal to his enemies.
RABASTAN LESTRANGE -- Amycus believes that Rabastan is a risk to the ranks and will not hesitate to let everyone know. If only the younger Lestrange could be more like his brother, it would make him a more worthy recruit.
