Synopsis: Roseline Enescue has no family and has been 17 for over 300 years, thanks to her husband, who some call Dracula. She manages to escape to America to try for a normal, human life. Roseline tries to blend in and ignore the pull to Gabriel Marston, who is more than even he knows, but this seems impossible to avoid.
I got this ebook for free on Amazon because I thought it sounded interesting and it was. There were some grammatical errors, but nothing that took away from the story. It was a refreshing take on vampires and I thought it was interesting that Roseline tried to avoid drinking blood once she was made immortal. It was quick and easy to read, but still had a good storyline. I wasn’t a big fan of how the romance between Roseline and Gabriel progressed and didn’t progress and progressed and didn’t progress… There was a lot of running away and it seemed like Roseline was new to relationships even though she was over 300 years old and had had relationships over that time. I enjoyed the action at the end (I won’t give anything away) and plan on continuing the series.
I gave this book 4 out of 5 on Goodreads, you can purchase this book on Amazon.
