Yohann De Sousa
The space in which you I exist in grows more amorphous every day. We take it as a matter of course, expect boundaries to flow fluid. First space, second space, third space, outer space—all just eddies in the ocean of the real. And so it isn’t shocking to see Yohann De Sousa’s slickly digital figures arrange themselves, birth themselves, reach with beauty for ever greater tiers of self-actualization. They are not us, aren’t necessarily from us, and yet they are not alien to us. We are human, so nothing digital can be alien to us—what would old Terence think of that?
A sweet portrait of sweet pair. 35mm film.
