The book im recommending this week is called, The Kiss of Deception by Mary E Pearson,book one in The Remnant Chronicles.
ok so when i bought this book i thought i wasn’t going to like it,idk why i thought that ,but i loved it! its amazing,so captivating!The character are the best, u will love them and u will be a mess! In the beginning it wasnt easy to tell who was the assassin and who was the prince but it all comes out towards the end!This book had me crying,u can feel the emotions of these character so vivid its amazing! Trust me u will be hooked and wanting to pick up the second one right away!
The book is about a girl named Arabella but goes by Lia.She is The First Daughter of The House of Morrighan.she is to be married to the prince of Dalbreak due to a crucial alliance that is needed between those two kingdoms! On the day of her wedding Lia and her best friend, Pauline, leave to Terravin where Pauline grew up.There an assassin is sent by The Komizar to kill her and a prince leaves his home to search for the girl who did what he couldn’t do,leave the day of the wedding.Both boys meet and involve them selfs in the new life lia has made in Terravin,with different identity's.Each of them both falling in love with her.When the time comes for the assassin to kill her,he changes his mind and decides to take her to The Komizar because of a gift she she possesses , along the way many things happen to her and the group that take her to The Komizar ! The prince goes looking for her and lands himself in a very risky position with lia and the assassin and his group.
You guys ,please if ur looking for a good book to read or to get out of a reading slump,pick this book up u will not regret it!
