New Blog/Blog Update
Hello! Big news! I’m creating a brand new Blog. It will be an extension of my Tumblr for all my personal posts and writing stuff! I’m super excited about it and hopefully it will be finished in the next week!
Hello! My name is Amy L. Glover, I’m a twenty year old from Melbourne Australia.
At the moment I am studying to get my Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing after completing my Cert 4 in 2016. My aspiration is to become a published author but I want to work in many different facets of this industry.
I write YA fantasy novels and my biggest dream is to publish my stories for a living. That’s what I am working towards and when I am not being distracted by Netflix or a new book, I am working on my stories! If you are ever interested in seeing my writing feel free to follow this link to my Wattpad account! (Please keep in mind a lot of these pieces are older works that need a LOT of revision!)
I started this blog in late 2014 and have been posting reviews, photographs and writing updates over that time. My main goal for this blog is to connect with other readers and writers and to just find a place in the Book community.
My vision for this blog is to really focus on reviews and my own writing. I want to start updating a lot more about my writing process. I love giving tips and tricks on writing and just chatting about the experiences I have.
Some of my favourite posts are my Writer’s Little Helper posts as well as my Bookstore Appreciation Posts! I’ll definitely be doing more of these during 2017.
Now a few more things about me!
1: I love coffee. At the moment Long Blacks are my thing because I don’t drink milk but when I’m at home I always have rice milk on hand, it’s soso good! 2: I have a Certificate 4 in Professional Writing and Editing. Doing this course has been one of my best life choices so far! 3: I’m going to America at the end of the year! I’m beyond excited for all the cheap books I’ll be able to get! 4: I’ve worked at a Thai Restaraunt for almost 5 years! 5: I’ve travelled to Thailand, the U.K and all over Europe. I have so many places I want to travel to. 6: My birthday is October 22nd which makes me a Libran! 7: I’m a big fan of Halloween but I’ve never been Trick-or-Treating. 8: I live in Melbourne, Australia! In my humble opinion, this is one of the best cities in the world. So vibrant, artsy and accepting. I adore Melbourne. 9: My favourite books include, May Bird and the Everafter, Wolf for Wolf, Six of Crows, the entire Raven Boys series and A Court of Mist and Fury! 10: One of my books is over 150,000 words. I call it The Monster.

Having a little writing sesh with some friends from uni! They’re my literal dream team! Super motivating to have a group of us writing together and to be tackling Camp NaNo together!
We’re doing 1,000 words between 10:30pm-11:30pm! Definitely recommend doing this if you’re a writer, it’s so fun!
