IMHO it is downright tragic that newer KPop fans have no idea who those girls are and why they were special. This is f(x) BTW

They were the first group that had more foreign than Korean members (Victoria is Chinese, Amber and Crystal are both from Cali)

Victoria was the group leader despite being Chinese and that is truly special since we know SM normally treats all foreigners especially singers from China like trash but Victoria was treated like royalty

Amber 👇 was a gamble for SM for obvious reasons. She doesn't fit into classical Korean beauty standards was from the US and on top of it of Chinese descend (she is now mainly active in China)

Without f(x) none of the later groups would have been able to be different. f(x) were the queens of concept. They tried out so many different concepts and showed what KPop could be. This group had sass and was unafraid.

They could be completely badass 😈

If you don't know them but love KPop then give them a try. The group is a classic 2nd gen group that fell apart when Sulli (rest in peace, girl) left in 2015.

Also....yes. Those girls were not overly skinny and actually had thighs. I know...shocking. Since beauty standards in Korea have (like so many other things) gone completely off the rails, those girls would now be considered fat. It is sad really.

BTW there is one other little tidbit that I have to share. That girl in SHINee's Replay video? That was Victoria 😁 oh and for those who watched "Luoyang" - she was the female MC
