hot chocolate addictions | phillip & anakin
Phillip would never be more glad that he brought a tin of hot chocolate with him than he was right now. Especially after finding out that Anakin might be coming down with something just after the man got over being ill just the other week. Honestly, it made Phillip laugh a little bit that the man had been foolish enough to wander out in the cold when he had just gotten over being sick, but it was a good thing for Phillip to go and distract himself by providing a sweet, chocolatey drink to a coworker that needed some comforting. He wasn't really sure why he had thought that a single room was something that he should have taken on now that he realised being all alone meant no distractions from the anniversary of his aunt's death looming over him in ways that he didn't want to deal with, and that was probably why he was so thankful that he did have a friend here, well, he thought of Anakin as a friend at least, who would be able to help provide him with a distraction from his thoughts, and maybe a semi-intellectual conversation on the pros and cons of owning a smartphone to have the ability to download a bunch of games to play.
He considered going outside and scooping some snow into a jar to take it to Anakin as a teasing joke, but after a moment he decided that walking outside just for snow that would probably melt by the time he managed to get up to Anakin's room wasn't worth the effort. He dug through his bag to find the tin of hot chocolate mix that he had brought with him, smiling a little bit as he ran his fingers over the embossed french that was delicately written on the tin. It had been a gift, a part of the care package that Étienne and Charisse had sent him for his birthday at the beginning the year, and not much of a hot chocolate drinker himself, Phillip had set it aside for a day that it would be properly used or if he had an emergency where he just needed to drown himself in the chocolatey liquid that was more sugar than water. This, to him, seemed like the perfect opportunity to put it into action, and he tucked into the pocket of his hoodie that he had tugged on earlier when he wanted to relax but needed some warmth before he made his way up the stairs to find Anakin's room. He wandered down the end of the hall, pausing at the door that was just slightly propped open before he knocked lightly at the door, slightly poking his head into the room. "Is it safe to come in or is your potential cold going to have your Force powers attack me?"
