You know, I was gonna make a really big post about how Mediterranean people exist, tend to be paler and that Tighnari's outfit and skin color is propriate for his ethnicity. However, I have decided that it's easier to tell these culture erasing people that Algeria literally exists and to Google what they look like and that their national animal is the Fennec Fox.

Drawing/editing Tighnari to have a darker skin tone is fine, I don't care. But doing that and changing his outfit to another group's traditional outfits then saying no pale people like Tighnari ever existed in these cultures so Hoyo is objectively wrong to ever make a character representing those people is where I draw the line. Because news flash us pale folks from that culture do exist.

Oh, and the whole Pako thing. Maybe Genshin had him join on because he does translate ethnic clothes well into stylized art and putting ethnic characters in, you are just upset that this time he was asked to do ethnic clothing for an under represented people who's color complexion is too pale for your tastes. If that gets your undies in a twist, deal with it, I am not gonna stop existing just because it makes you upset that I and people from my culture can be "too light colored" for you. And if I *was* Pako I'd be insulted by how you all are acting tbh.

On a more positive note it is so good to get representation, and Tighnari is really good representation in my opinion too! And omg did you all see the coffee grinders on the tables? I can SMELL those bitches, and the music for these areas is so good!

Okay anyone else remember watching (Or in my case forced to watch) that old shitty McDonald's cartoon with live action segments and the absolutely terrifying live action robot dog?

Because I always remember and I just learned not many people realized that not only the live action portions existed, but that the dog was abso-fucking-lutely terrifying.

As a person who loves cryptids and loves laughing at obvious fake stories, I must admit when there are stories so obviously fake they ain't funny.

One such story is the cryptid "Ningen"

Why is it actually annoying me on how fake it is? Why, let's check Google why it annoys me:

Yep, that's right, the "name" of this cryptid is literally the Japanese word for human, but mispronounced in a Western way.

The story is that Japanese ship crew will see a huge human-esque shaped shadow in the water when they looked over board and thusly just started calling it, OF ALL FUCKING THINGS, Ningen, which LITERALLY JUST MEANS HUMAN in their language.

I too know that if I saw a giant human like shadow in the water I too would totes call it a fucking human also /s.

IDK it just bothers me, namely because "cyptozoology" doesn't have a stellar past of NOT being racist. Quite contrary it actually has a past dripping with racism.

I also guess I'm annoyed because every sea cryptid video will pull this mf up and act like it's not the obvious stupid fake shit it is. Which overall makes the video less fun to watch.

Look at who found their way into MY home and had to be ESCORTED out! My cat wasn't happy I didn't let her eat them lol. All animals today were unhappy XD. This guy was very energetic and fighting us the whole way, and we couldn't find any injuries. We released this guy immediately after the picture was taken.
