O Fuji industrial é um filme feito para o mercado Japonês, mas devido às várias lojas online de rolos fotográficos, é fácil conseguir encomendar alguns. Escrevo para quem vive em Portugal. É que este tipo de coisa demora uma eternidade a chegar cá.

Os meus vieram da Alemanha pela macodirect.de.

Monetariamente acessíveis, fiquei muito surpreendida com  o resultado. Ainda estão disponíveis com ISO 100 e 400.

Infelizmente a Fujifilm está numa onda de descontinuar rolos fotográficos, e estes 2 fazem parte da lista. Se quiserem experimentar tem de ser rápido.

A sua ficha técnica diz que é um rolo para ser usado ao ar livre ou em ambientes internos com flash, retratos, cores naturais, tons de pele precisos, granulação fina e latitude de exposição grande. O contraste é médio e parece favorecer o vermelho, pois é a cor que aparece mais saturada e destacada. Tem alguma granulação o que poderá não ser indicado para paisagens.

Ora então o meu veredito. Eu gostei muito. Tem um bom detalhe em todos os planos de foco. A granulação é evidente. Tem um bom contraste com cores vivas e naturais e concordo com o facto da cor vermelha ser bastante favorecida neste filme. Na realidade não tenho aspetos negativos para referenciar. Gostava que tivesse menos grão, no entanto o facto de ser ISO 400 poderá contribuir para isso. Já experimentei o de ISO 100 e não era tão evidente. Também reparei que tenho um componente ligeiramente magenta em todo o filme. Inicialmente achei que pudesse ser do tempo, meteorologicamente falando. Estava nublado e sombrio. Descartei a hipótese porque um destes rolos foi fotografado em outra ocasião diferente e mantive a “tal” componente magenta. O que será? Demora para ser revelado depois de exposto? conservação fora do frigorifico?

Não sei!

Monetarily affordable, I was very surprised by the result. They are still available with ISO 100 and 400. Unfortunately Fujifilm is on a wave of discontinuing photographic films, and these 2 are on the list. If you want to experiment you have to be fast.

Its datasheet says it’s a film to be used outdoors or indoors with flash, portraits, natural colors, precise skin tones, fine grain and large exposure latitude. The contrast is medium and seems to favor red because it is the color that appears more saturated and highlighted. It has some granulation which may not be suitable for landscapes.

Well then my verdict. I liked very much. It has a good detail in all the focus plans. The granulation is evident. It has a good contrast with vivid and natural colors and I agree with the fact that red color is very favored in this film. In fact I have no negative aspects to refer to. I wish it had less grain, but being ISO 400 could contribute to that. I already tried the ISO 100 and it was not so obvious. I also noticed that I have a slightly magenta component throughout the film. At first I thought it might be the weather, meteorologically speaking. It was cloudy and gloomy. I dismissed the hypothesis because one of these rolls was photographed on another occasion and kept the magenta component. What will it be? to many time waiting to be developed after being exposed? out of the fridge? Do not know! I leave here some photos of Toledo.

We are very lucky that our grandmother lives in one of the most beautiful cities I know.

Guimarães is the first Portuguese city thanks to our king D. Afonso Henriques. He defeated his mother in the battle of S. Mamede and from there he conquered the country we have today, expelling all the Moors.

Guimarães is a city full of history. All its corners represent the conquest of our country and has the most friendly and characteristic inhabitants ever.

We had a weekend in Guimarães to visit our family and decided to take only film with us and some of our analog cameras.

One of the film I tested was the Tmax400. I had photographed him before, so it was not totally unknown to me.

 I hadn’t tried yet the pulled film, and the Tmax 400 proved to be the best to do it. Here is a great opportunity to try.

I pulled this TMax 400 to 3200 and the results are in the images below.

Regarding the method of pulling the film, I read that when we photograph and develop in an ISO higher than the film itself, we obtain more contrasted images and with a very reduced latitude. The gray scale is small. However, the detail is clear and the grain quite subtle.

 I really love the BW result.

Temos muita sorte que a nossa avó vive numa das cidades mais bonitas que conheço.

Guimarães é a primeira cidade portuguesa graças ao nosso rei D. Afonso Henriques. Ele que derrotou a sua mãe na batalha de S. Mamede e que a partir daí conquistou o pais que temos hoje, expulsando todos os mouros.

Guimarães é uma cidade carregada de história. Todos os seus recantos representam a conquista do nosso país e tem os habitantes mais simpáticos e característicos de sempre.

Estivemos um fim de semana em Guimarães para visitar a nossa família e decidimos levar apenas filmes connosco e algumas das nossas máquinas analógicas.

Um dos rolos que testei foi o Tmax 400 da kodak. Já tinha fotografado antes com ele, por isso não era um filme totalmente desconhecido para mim.

Uma das coisas que ainda não tinha experimentado era o filme puxado e o Tmax 400 revelou ser o mais indicado para o fazer. Aqui está uma ótima oportunidade para experimentar.

Puxei este TMax 400 a 3200 e os resultado está nas imagens abaixo.

Sobre o método de puxar o filme, li que quando fotografamos e revelamos numa ISO mais alto que o do próprio rolo, obtemos imagens mais contrastadas e com uma latitude bastante reduzida. A escala de cinzentos é pequena. No entanto, o detalhe é nítido e o grão bastante subtil.

Eos 300 analógica + 50mm f/1.8

Para uma película relativamente acessível economicamente, fiquei surpreendida com os resultados. Pouco grão, boa resposta a locais com pouca luz e cores vivas.

Pode ser uma solução para quem gosta muito de fotografar com máquinas analógicas, sem que tenha de investir tudo o que tem em película.

For a relatively affordable film, I was surprised with the results. Little grain, good response to places with low light and bright colors.

It can be a solution for those who like to shoot a lot with analog machines, without having to invest all in film.
