Why are the Vees not respected by the other overlords?
This is a question that keeps going through my mind because the reason I, and many other people go with, might not be as accurate after what we learn in Season 2 and what has been hinted to happen in Season 3.
The reason being: "Because they're the new comers/modern!" But... I don't think that's the case now that we've seen more of the Overlords and their opinions.
Carmilla uses the most up to date technology, Zeezi has a fairly modern style and taste, and the cowboys (Prick and Hatchet) don't even seem to run a business or act professional in anyway.
And yet the Overlord's reaction to The Vees (who have been powerful, successful and popular for the latest decades) is this:
And even when the agree to team up with the Vees, they don't seem to like Vox at all and the other Vees don't seem that close to any other Overlord (We see Val send a text to angel about a "film" idea that requires Zeezi's dino demons. But the only time we see that he might bring it up is during the finale's table scene, meaning he doesn't have her phone.
So... Why do all the Overlords dislike them/disrespect them so much?
In comparison, this is how they talk about a Overlord who has been gone for 7 years, constantly killed their fellow overlords, and doesn't seem to take much of being an Overlord too seriously (he doesn't seem to directly care much about his territories or any business he runs. He doesn't even have a real schedule for his radio show:
The fact that they see Alastor being defeated as a possible thing that "shakes the foundations" and the first person they think that can defeat him is Lucifer (KING OF HELL) says something.
And yes, they do also say stuff to mock him but when he can't hear them and it's more focused on how he might've been defeated (also how did NONE of the Overlords say one negative thing towards him when they saw him tied to a chair defeated). Only Carmilla insults him passive-aggressively but still welcomes him back and his seating his pretty close to the head of the table (while the Vees are at the very end of the table).
And remember, Alastor is an active threat to other Overlords. While the Vees seem to work with other Overlords a lot more casually or try to be polite towards them for business reasons.
The only thing I can come up with is that they might've not fought for their territory/positions. We can assume that Vox could have made his start on his own and maybe the other Vees are seen riding his coattails. But, VOX is the one that is the LEAST liked by other Overlords not the other two. It's possibly because they come off as insecure/trying too hard but again, I don't know.
This isn't really a theory post so much as me asking you guys what YOU think about it (other detail is that even former Overlords seem to specifically think bad about them like they have seen evidence of their failure before. Husk I get, he was an Overlord and works for Alastor so he's seen them enough times, but Zestial? What clued Zestial in on the fact that Vox is more selfish and untrustworthy than other Overlords besides just gathered up wisdom over the years?).
