PLL Bethany Theory... If anyone cares...
I want to share a theory with you about Bethany Young, but I'm not sure exactly how to start so I'll just jump in.
There is a connection between PLL and the book "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb. I first noticed this connection because of episode 4x21 entitled "She's Come Undone" and Eddie Lamb's name, which is obviously similar to the author's name.
The story of "She's Come Undone" centers around Dolores, a woman who had a hard life growing up and through a series of events ends up in a mental institution. In the institution Dolores's therapist becomes her pseudo-mother-figure, and this ultimately is what allows Dolores to work past her issues. Once Dolores gets better, she leaves the institution and tracks down a guy she fell in love with, love at first sight, before she went into the institution. She moves to the town he's in and assumes an entirely new identity to get close to him. They form a relationship and Dolores moves in with her new boyfriend, who is a high school teacher and writer. Sound familiar? After a while of being in the relationship, Dolores finds out that her boyfriend is sleeping with one of his students. They fight about it, but ultimately stay together though their relationship becomes strained. Things continue to go downhill when Dolores becomes pregnant and her boyfriend forces her to get an abortion. Shortly after that Dolores reveals all to her boyfriend and he leaves her on the spot. Now, this could be similar to Bethany's story of how she ended up in Alison's place.
Here we go: Bethany ended up in Radley, reasons unknown. She then formed a mother-daughter type of bond with Jessica DiLaurentis, which helped her heal, get better, and eventually leave Radley. Once she left, she decided she would stay in Rosewood because she saw something she liked. Ezra Fitz. But, coming out of Radley and being only 17, she assumed a new identity to get close to Fitz. They formed a relationship similar to Dolores and her boyfriend's. Everything started fine, then Bethany found out Ezra was seeing Ali, and finally, an unplanned pregnancy(and abortion) caused their relationship to hit bottom. Then Bethany's true identity was revealed to Ezra, and he immediately bolted. Bethany, hopeless and homeless, decided she would find Mrs. D. in hopes that she would help her. By this point, Ali has left Rosewood, leaving Mona with her clothes(the yellow top) and the ALISON bracelet. During her search, Bethany runs into Mona, and Mona realizes that Bethany would be the perfect answer to her problem. What problem you ask? Well, the problem with the fact that yeah sure Ali is gone, but eventually people are gonna start looking for her. Mona knows she can't let that happen because if Ali is found that will ruin her whole plan, soooo... Mona pretends to take pity on Bethany and tells her she will help her find Mrs. D. Mona then stalls all day by being hospitable to Bethany. She feeds her, listens to her tale of woe, and clothes her in Ali's clothes, how nice. Once nighttime was upon them, they drove to the DiLaurentis house. Mona didn't go up the driveway, she parked near the curb and let Bethany out there. After Bethany started walking towards the house, Mona jumped out and ambushed her with a shovel she had in the trunk. And it was done. All Mona had to do then was drag Bethany's body into the backyard, put the ALISON bracelet on her, and bury her. Just like that.
Sorry this was so long. I really think this parallel is plausible, but of course there isn't enough information about Bethany to really decide anything. If you actually got through all of this, I hope you've found it interesting.
This is a stretch.... But when you rearrange Emily's name you get 'my lie'
Paid to Make Something Special:
Could Jonny be the creative genius behind the ‘A’ fireworks? I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this starving artist arrived in Rosewood. He could be the only one capable of pulling off such a brilliant stunt.
am i the only one who observed that after Ian died, the liars’ life became so dark
Who Killed Ian Theory.
This is my little theory. Who helped Melissa in letting Ian escape from Rosewood? Wren right? Wren has always been there for Melissa even though it doesn't look like it. Why on earth would Wren help Melissa supply medical needs that are for patients who are injured withput asking Melissa? It's because he is the one behind it! We all know he has a thing for Spencer and what if he followed Ian after Alison pushed him to that bell tower? Alison said something that he was alive when she saw him coming outside from the back door. Wren killed Ian for the revenge that he did to Spencer. He is not the BIG A but he is part of the -A Team. This might seem a little bit confusing but i might add little details when i finish rewatching the entire season 1.
I'll be rewatching every PLL episode from season 1 right nowpll
