Call me a st trinian the way I’m a defender of anarchy
RiddleBird Au:
Edward and Oswald have a massive fight and take a break over politics. Because Eddie is big on workers rights and thanks to personal experience hates bilionaires and capitalism and Oswald is the poster child for older moderate conservatives. They were managing but the Luthor election was a big boom.
Oswald thinks it's a silly thing and Edward will see reason and come back until he hears that Eddie developed a close friendship with Clock King (who is also a leftist) so his only solution is to ask Loonie Machin to guide him into leftist ideology so he can impress Riddler and get him back (he choose Loonie because while Loonie is waay too radical for Penguin's tastes the only other option was Ivvy and Pam can be very scary). Loonie at first rejects the idea but after Oswald promisses to allow his workers to unionize Machinn begrundgily accepts (with a video of Oswald being mean towards Riddler from before they dated as insurance because if Oswald back tracks on the union he will garantee he never gets his bf back). Shennanigans issue.
Some headcannons I have about Anarchy:
- Had a massive crush on Red Robin.
- Cried when they discovered Red Robin was a member of the bourgeoisie.
- Shares a college dorm with Bernard and they are friends although Loonnie likes Dowd they thinks he has a shitty taste in men. The whole situattion is rather ackward on Tim.
- Has an hate/crush on Tim.
- Loonie and Cullen is my underground ship. Don't ask.
- Is gay and nonbinary. Uses he/they.
- Considers Riddler and Clock King class traitors and is very vocal about it. He dislikes Riddler less because Riddler at least lets his goons unionize.
- Poison Ivvy is his inspiration among the rogues.
- Met Green Arrow and was deeppy disapointed. That being said he likes the Arrow fam kids more than the Batfam ones.
- Actually likes Signal, Bluebird and Spoiler. They hang out on Fridays. Has a mix of anger and gay panic everytime Red Robin is mentioned/calls/is there.
- They think Jason aproach over killing criminals and joining crime instead of trying to go solve the systemic issues that causes crime makes him a class traitor as well. Jason thinks Loonnie is too much of an idealist. They fight a lot.
- Considers Punchline his true nemesis as they are the youngest Rogues in Gotham and represent too very differnt views on the future.
- Punchilne does not consider him anything. She has better rivals like Batman and Harley and if she had to choose a nemesis it would be Bluebird.
- Is banned from the Iceberg Lounge not due to not having 21 yet but because everytime he was there he organized a strike between Penguin's workers. Does the same with most Rogues.
- After she leaved Joker he started hang more with Harley and gifting her comunist books.
The other Batman wasn’t as broad or bulky as Bruce, more lean and quick, but still intimidating in his sleek black suit.
The other Superman was slightly taller and broader than Clark, his features were similar but his eyes were a vibrant purple. His suit was less colourful, but still the same costume.
They were sitting side-by-side on the bench supplied in their cell, shoulders touching, pressed against each other like they’d been doing it for a long time.
“They seem close,” Diana observed, “like brothers...or lovers.”
They all stared as the other Superman took the other Batman’s hand and lifted is to his lips to kiss the black clad hero’s knuckles gently.
The other Batman stared at him, unblinking, and then a small smile twitched onto his face.
“Aw.” Shayera said.
“Dude,” Flash grinned at Hal. “Supes and Bats are flirting. Finally.”
Bruce glared at the snickering pair.
“We need to know who they are.” He growled.
Clark nodded in agreement.
“Who are you?” Clark blurted.
Bruce sighed at him and glared at the pair.
“Well,” the other Batman said flatly. “At least he’s direct.”
The other Superman snorted and held out his hand. “David Kent, Superman from another universe. And Short-”
“I am not short.”
“-Dark and Gloomy here is my husband, Danny Wilde.” David finished pleasantly.
“Fun-Killer,” Danny muttered in a less gravelled and cold tone as he slid off the cowl, revealing thick, shaggy ebony hair that fell down to just below his ears and impossibly huge sapphire blue eyes. Clark had to admit, the boy was very pretty. “Freaked out yet?”
“No.” Bruce rumbled. “Who are you? I don’t know you.”
“Well, I’m your eldest adopted son,” Danny said, “guess I’m not around in this universe. That sucks. Anyway, hi. We’re here to help save your planet.”
“His name is William Lars,” Danny explained slowly, “he’s…he’s not nice.”
“No kidding,” Wally said, “he’s trying to kill everyone on out planet.”
“Well, at least they’re the same,” David sighed.
“Wonderful,” Danny replied dryly. “He goes by Anarchy, and I’ve known him since I was a kid. He’s killed more people than the Joker. He’s coming here with a device that will make your planet burn, and you won’t have the experience with him to know how to stop him.”
“Which is where we come in,” David piped in.
“Where I come in,” Danny corrected. “Last time you fought Anarchy three city blocks were levelled.”
“It was an accident,” David huffed.
“An accident is my over confident sidekick crashing through a window after he trips on his own cape,” Danny retorted. “That was a PR Catastrophe.”
“I’d hate to know what an actual catastrophe is,” David grumbled.
“Oh, that would be what your grandma would do to you if you ever hurt me,” Danny replied cheerfully. “I’m adorable and everyone is very protective of me, despite the fact I could probably force feed them their knee caps.”
“I really hate that you’re right,” David grumbled.
“You should be used to it by now,” Danny smiled.
“Wait a minute,” David said, “Tommy tripped on his cape?”
“He tried the Move and it ended badly.” Danny chuckled. “Leave him alone, he’s only been Robin for about two months.”
“He can fly, how did he…”
“I’m still trying to work that out,” Danny answered, concerned.
“Excuse me,” Clark said, “if I could interrupt…”
“Go on, Farm Boy,” Danny answered pleasantly. “We’re listening attentively.”
“Oh he’s definitely one of yours,” Clark rolled his eyes at Bruce. “Where is this Anarchy? How do we stop him?”
“See, there’s where it gets iffy,” Danny said, “we don’t actually know.”
“What?” Hal blurted. “You mean this might not be the right universe?”
“Oh, it’s the right universe,” Danny said.
“How can you be sure?” Diana asked.
“Last time he was wrong people still had Walkmans,” David replied.
“And I was still living in Brooklyn,” Danny nodded. “He’ll be here, we just don’t know exactly when or where.”
“But he will be here,” David continued. “Which gives us time to…prepare you for fighting him.”
“What if we just…not listen?” Diana asked.
“Princess,” Danny answered charmingly. “You’d all be dead within ten minutes of fighting him.”
“Honestly,” Hal said, “I like them.”
“Well, they’re not staying here,” Bruce grumbled. “And if they’re serious about this training thing, well, it’s better we don’t have two Kryptonians on the Watchtower.”
“Agreed,” they all said as Clark glowered.
“Where would they, and we, stay?” He asked.
“The mansion is the best place,” Diana said suddenly. “You have the facilities, the space, and they already know who we are. From the sounds of it, they’ve grown up knowing us.”
“So, we’re in agreement?” Wally asked, and Bruce and Clark glared at him.
“What? I wanted to say it for once!” Wally pouted.
“We’re in agreement,” Shayera nodded. “Now, they’re adorable, aren’t they?”
“Yes,” Wally said. “I mean, come on, they flirted the entire time.”
“Danny’s obviously the boss,” Shayera beamed. “And by the sounds of it, they’ve got a son, Tommy.”
“Aw,” Wally matched her grin.
“If you two are finished gossiping,” Bruce said. “I have to go introduce another Robin to my sons.”
