Look, as much as I'd like to use Alex's "No❤" when Reggie says "Girls, am I right?",,,,, i am at the "yeah😍" part of the conversation
Look. The first time I watched "But I'm a cheerleader" I did it because I was going through a PhaseTM where I was watching a the cheerleading movies I could find (started with Bring It On, and I can safely say that I've watched all of them at least three times). So. I find this movie of a pretty girl wearing a pink dress, pom poms in the air and without reading the synopsis I say: CHEERLEADING MOVIE !!!!!!
I start watching it and I remember vividly thinking "huh, she doesn't really like kissing her boyfriend, that seems super disgusting and uncomfortable". I was 15-16 y/o, mind you, had kissed a boy only once and wasn't that much interested in doing it again.
Throughout the whole movie I was very invested in Megan and Graham's secret relationship and I got scared they were going to find them out. I cheered when they got together at the end. I was very excited, but somehow understood not to let my mom or my sister know that I was watching a movie where the leading lady ended up with another lady.
Even though I knew that, I went out to play with "friends" and started telling them about the movie and got a "THAT'S DISGUSTING" reaction from them, which made me feel really bad. I begun questioning myself as to why I would enjoy the movie and other people would find it disgusting. However, I decided to just store away that I had watched a lesbian movie without knowing what lesbian even meant, because I didn't want people to call me disgusting.
Fast forward to two or three years later, me trying to discover my sexuality and watching the movie again because it held a very dear place in my heart (still does). I can tell you guys that "But I'm a cheerleader" helped me realize many, many things about myself, including the knowledge that the people I was spending my time with were not really worth it.
I guess what I want to convey with this is:

When Sasuke opens the door of their apartment, his apartment, he thinks that maybe he should have taken Naruto’s offer and stayed with him and Sakura for a couple of days.
The windows are closed, the curtains are shut and there’s still a faint smell of perfume that makes his eyes burn. He settles himself on the couch, laying down, looking at the ceiling. It’s 6 in the afternoon, the sun is still up but the apartment is dark enough for him to blind his eyes for a second when he turns his phone on.
He looks for her contact name on Whatsapp, lingers on her profile picture – the two of them, smiling, as she holds a “Just Married” sign –. He scrolls up through the chat, re-reads old messages, listens to old voice notes, and when he reaches their last conversation, he swallows the heavy lump on his throat.
“Hey, Sasuke!”, a car door opens. “I just got out from the school, I have awesome news!”, a car door closes. “Soooo, I really hope you’re ready to open that bottle of Scotch you have on the cupboard because this is a special occasion!” she laughs, the car starts. “I’ll be home soon, I love you.”
“Fuck, Hinata.” He murmurs to himself, tears falling down his cheeks and into his ears. He cleans them and tries to stop himself from sobbing.
He plays the note again.
And again.
“Hey, Sasuke! just got out from the school, I have awesome news! Soooo, I really hope you’re ready to open that bottle of Scotch you have on the cupboard because this is a special occasion! I’ll be home soon, I love you.”
And again.
“- that bottle of Scotch you have on the cupboard because this is a special occasion! I’ll be home soon, I love you.”
And again.
“-. I’ll be home soon, I love you.”
And again.
“-. I’ll be home soon, I love you.”
And again. And again. And again. And again. Until the hall that leads to their – his – bedroom can say the same three words back to him. Until her voice becomes one with the walls. Until he can recite the whole voice note in between sobs.
“You’re not home.”

Day 4: Coffee
Happy SasuHina Month!
Day 4: The smell of coffee in the morning
Coffee

When Sasuke wakes up, his room is filled with the smell of coffee recently made. It’s been days since that’s happened, which means Hinata is finally back from her trip and she’s making breakfast. He gets out of bed as quickly as he can, relieves himself in the bathroom, washes his hands and puts a little bit of toothpaste on his mouth just so his breath is not as bad as it is right now. When he gets out, he hears something being poured onto oil, and then the smell of eggs. God, how he missed her.
“You’re back.”
“G-good morning.”
“Morning.”
He walks to her, kisses her hair, and goes to serve himself a cup of coffee. He blesses the day Naruto moved out of the apartment every day.
“How’s your dad?” he asks her after he’s drained his first cup of coffee.
“He’s good, he, uh, asked after you.”
“He did?”
“Uh hum, surprised me too. He just wanted to know how you were, if you were giving me trouble.”
Sasuke snorts and answers, “and obviously you told him that you’re the one who gives me trouble, right?”
“As if,” Hinata snorts. She flips the omelet with expertise and turns to look at him. “What did you do while I was out? Eat take out and not shower?”
“I’m on vacation, Hina, I’m allowed to do those things.”
“I swear it, if I’d leave for more than a week, you’d be dead.”
Sasuke hums and washes his cup, “I’m gonna take a shower,” and leaves Hinata laughing in the kitchen. He knows she doesn’t like it when he doesn’t take care of himself. He also knows that she’s completely capable of doing exactly the same thing when she’s in a mood. Sasuke’s glad that Hinata’s room is in front of his, at least that way he can pretend he doesn’t hear her crying sometimes.
After he comes out of the shower, Hinata calls his name, tells him that breakfast is ready, and to hurry up, please. It’s been a while since she last cried because of Naruto, though, and he wonders sometimes when it would be the right time to ask her out on a date. When he gets to the table, and she smiles brightly at him and even though she has dark circles under her eyes, she looks beautiful. He decides that maybe it’ll take a little while, but she’s definitely worth waiting for.

Day 1: Welcome to Hyuga Antiquing
Happy SasuHina Month everyone! I’m gonna try to participate the whole month, that’s my personal challenge.
Day 1: Antique Shops.
Welcome to Hyuga Antiquing
You can also read it here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/24489868
When Hinata started working at the Antique Shop her father owned, she thought that every single day would be dull and boring. Sure, there have been days where the only thing she wanted was for someone to come in and just take a look, someone she could talk to. Well, she talked to the dolls, sometimes, but one-sided conversations weren’t really that gratifying. There were days upon days that no one would come inside, and then there were other days where she had five to ten costumers. Those were her happiest days. She really enjoyed working at the Antique Shop, most of the time she could just, tune out the rest of the world until the door bell rang, daydream or do homework, or just forget the outside world existed for a bit.
When she was little, her mom would take her through the shelves, would let her play with the dolls, would let her pick vinyl after vinyl and they would enjoy the music, and dance, and sing, and laugh. Hinata always felt like the Antique Shop was a completely different world. It was hard going back, after her mother died, but her dad made it through and he brought Hanabi and her every single day, and he would let them play with the dolls, and would let them play music, and laugh, and have fun. But he never walked through the shelves with them. Always staying behind and letting them play however they wanted. Hinata remembers hearing sobbing, the sound echoing through the walls. She never said anything.
As she grew up, she found the Antique Shop to be quite boring, some other things taking up her time and she just… stopped enjoying it. She would come to visit her father to bring him lunch, or just to talk, but she wouldn’t go through the shelves, or play music, or check the dolls. After she started college, though, her father got sick and she decided, along with her cousin, Neji, that they would man the front desk while he got better. And one month became two, and two became three, and three became four. After working at the Shop for four and a half months, and her father not getting better, Hinata decided that maybe, just maybe, she would stay longer.
Day 3: Natural
Happy SasuHina Month! Day 3 :D
Day 3: Black and White
Natural

When she enters the ballroom, Hinata feels like maybe coming was a mistake. Someone grabs her arm and she turns to look at Neji, who looks like he too wants to be back home and watching series while eating burgers. They sigh at the same time and start walking. They decided that they were going to match, black dress and black tux, as well as a black mask, just so their eyes could pop out a bit.
“Oh, my god! Hinata, you look amazing!” Ino tells her once she crosses paths with her.
“Thank you! You look amazing yourself,” she answers, and it’s true. Ino’s wearing a big, white, puffy dress that is bigger than her own. “Thank you for this.”
“Oh, sweetie! I just wanted to celebrate having everyone back! It’s been a while since we were all in the same city.”
“Y-yeah…”
So, maybe that was another reason she didn’t want to come. Everyone was back, including her first love, Naruto, who was now engaged to his first love, Sakura. With them came Sasuke, who was always polite to her, if somewhat rude. She doesn’t really know him, and she’s never really made an effort to do so.
Hey guys. This is me ranting a lil bit because the other person I can do that with (my sister) is asleep and we already talked about it but i'm not done still.
Right now, my mom is in the ICU because of a urine infection. I rushed her to the ER last night because yesterday she spent the day asleep, feverish, with no appetite, and completely out of it. She fell asleep in the middle of the sentences she tried to say, waking up again 10 or so seconds later to continue talking. It was very hard for me and her nurse to keep her awake. Her eyes were glassy, and her blood pressure was really, really low. Now, that last one was very alarming (as if the others weren't) because my mom is hypertensive, no hypotensive.
So. The thing is. We knew she had a urine infection. BUT! Because of all the Covid-19 thingy (heh), her Neurosurgeon, her Urologist and her Gen doctor said that it was best to wait at home, do some exams, find the bacteria and deal with it with antibiotics. And we followed that for about a month and a half. A MONTH AND A HALF. She's had this infection pretty much since her surgery, festering inside her and creating colonies. And I mean. I KNOW that they were thinking about her health, you know? I know that, my sister knows that and my MOM knows that. But this bacteria? She is nothing to play around with and she's resistant to the antibiotics her doctor was telling her to take. S u r p r i s e!
This bacteria, Klebsiella Pneumoniae, can only be treated at a hospital because is just THAT aggressive, and it was making my mom's blood pressure to be very unstable. Last night, they gave her 3 bags of Sodium Chloride and her blood pressure was still not going up, as well as throwing in there some medicine to raise it, but nothing was working. Her doctor decided to send her to the ICU so she could be thoroughly monitored until her blood pressure was up again.
Yesterday, my mom was this close to a sceptic shock. Today, she was awake and alert, but now her blood pressure is too high. Her doctor told me that they had to put a catheter on her jugular to know how to handle this because if her blood pressure continued to go down, her organs could start failing and her body could shut down.
My mom has gone through 9 surgeries, the last one took a tumor out of her spine, she's still in the recovery process part, she's undergoing physical therapy to walk again. She's got out of the OR after 12 hours of surgery on her spine, I'm not letting a urine infection take her away. I have no idea what i'm gonna do, but that's where I stand on.
TL;DR: my mom has an agressive urine infection and we didn't go to the hospital because her doctors told us not to. Now she's in the ICU and her body could shut down if they're not able to stabilize her blood pressure.
