Well, I may have regrets but at least I didn’t move to Portland.
So I have spent the last week or so in extreme dental pain, skipping meals, unable to drink water without benzocaine, convinced I have some terrible problem and also convinced that this is all my fault.
Finally got an emergency dental appointment and it turns out this is from clenching my teeth. From stress.
Also my (very nice) dentist said pretty much 100% of his patients are clenching their teeth right now because of current events, so please remember to massage your jaw before you end up like me.

I (creature of habit) like consistency (breakfast of overnight oats consisting of rolled oats, mixed berries, and flax seeds) particularly in vulnerable times (morning) but do you know what does absolutely slap? Fresh steel cut oats made with those same mixed berries apparently.
The printing cooperative is shutting down and did a sale on all their leftover posters, but honestly it just made me very depressed. Like not one single thing has improved and in fact many of them got worse. No War on Iraq? Eight year war on Iraq, half a million people dead in Iraq. Torture at Guantanamo? Probably starting up again soon. End the blockade on Gaza? Literally what can I say. Central America: Regan Wants War, We Say Build Peace? We're currently busy propping up fascist regimes in Central America and throwing the people fleeing the consequences of those wars into black hole private prisons. Lebanon Emergency Committee? Yeah that got worse. Bilingual poster showing smiling teenage mothers holding their babies and reminding them to get immunized because "Your child's future depends on you"? Yeah we'll be getting rid of that too shortly.
Transphobes lost their shit over a fiftysomething trans woman running in our marathon, including whining that our local paper wouldn't respond to the op ed they submitted to the slush pile, anyway I looked up her time and she finished over an hour later than the average for women competitors. In fact she barely made the qualifying time and her posted races show her usually being below the average time for women on the course. Is this the cheating we're told about? An older lady who appears to just really enjoy Zumba and running?
ETA: actually I'll say it out loud. Transmisogynists will say she "took" a slot from a "real" woman but actually they're just mad they don't have the dedication and passion to ever qualify.

Customer orders the large print edition of a book the day after we do a signing with the author, and when I email him asking if he really wants the large print edition or if this was a mistake, gets mad at me that we don't have a signed regular print edition for him.
