Good day, fellow people

Today I am writing this rather random post to keep myself at least somewhat accountable for the amazing month of soul-ripping fun that I am about to doom myself to. And I am talking about the infamous Inktober!

I can not hear your applause. Someone? Anyone? Ah well. Anyhow! My idea for the upcoming 30 days of misery is no other than turning the joyful Inktober challenge into the Anatober, entity of which is destined to drain life from the mere persons, who have willingly subjected themselves to it.

My idea of Anatober is going to be drawing a human face for each day of October. A challenge to force myself to finally put more effort into studying proportions and practicing anatomy more thoroughly.

Every day I will be dedicating between 30 and 60 minutes for:

a portrait of a person in a chosen angle

a skull in the chosen angle

a close up on an eye in the chosen angle

a close up of a nose in the chosen angle

a close up of a mouth in the chosen angle

I decided to share this idea with you, darling followers, in case if someone would be interested in pitching in. Does it have to be a human face? Not at all, you can choose any object you like (or not), and turn this challenge into a detailed study of it.

I am pretty sure someone has already arranged a similar thing, by any means I do not claim it to be an original idea, but that’s an idea of mine that I came up recently. I am not yet sure whether or not to post sketches daily, or just make a dump in the end of the month, we will see.

If anyone would like to have a bit more detailed info on the thing, I will be happy to add more info and details, as well as weekly themes | Message me/reblog, anything will do

But as for now, I will peace out and leave you to the random sketch of Sat, as everyone needs more Sat in their life ♥

Lmao day 2 (shoulders) is a bit late late. Sat on a buss for 3 hours yesterday and another 3 hours car today so Im too tired to do more than this. Will mash together day 3-4 tomorrow bcs I really wanna do all of them.
