Top 5 book references in the TV series Hannibal.
Oh boy, that’s a good one. I’m such a fan of the ‘mash up DJ-ing’ the show does so well. Everything’s interwoven.
This may be cheating, but I love the gender flip of Freddie Lounds. I reread the book after the series, and all that sassiness evident in the book translates so well into the flame-haired tabloid journalist we know today.
I love the subtle placements of Japanese art decorating Hannibal’s office and home. I don’t think it’s ever mentioned, but it’s everywhere.
I love the fact that the very first murder in Apéritif is one of the Red Dragon’s.
How much MORE we get of Bella Crawford in the series vs. book.
I love the lines in Contorno as Hannibal is about to disembowel poor Pazzi. I think having Alana at the other end of that phone works well.
Thanks for the ask :)
