Shaula had been on her way towards the office she temporarily called home, choosing to tread the paths less traveled by. Her day's supply of humble adornments had run out, and an earlier encounter with a sibling, one that was out in the open no less, had made her eager to stay out of the public's eye for as long as necessary. 

At least until things cooled down a bit. Then it would be back to business as usua-

A small stumble into a passerby stopped her. Normally, she would have offered an insincere apology, perhaps accompanied by a small prick of the scorpion's tail, but not today.

The soul of this one seemed... different, somehow. It was obvious he was not human, but he was also neither an afreet egg, sorcerer, or anything else she had come across before.

Her curiosity was sparked.

She staggered back, as if the man had ran into her with force.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" she began, feigning embarrassment, "I-I didn't mean to run into you! My grandmother has always told me I was clumsy!"

Not that well since I’m still watching it. I’m becoming interested in retro anime/manga and I started the series no long before, after fate zero I’ll continue it. But I liked what I already have seen. Great mecha anime

Getting to Know You [@anchiseijintentai]

The flaxen haired thief closed the doors to the workshop for the day, headed back home for a well needed rest. She'd been burning both ends of the candle trying to get the project done that was supposed to be finished quite some time ago. She hadn't exactly been fully honest with her father. She'd told him that it had already been finished, and was ready to be put up on the display.

A sigh escaped the young girls lips, she hadn't a clue how any of this came to be. It definitely wasn't the incessant late night snacking, or the fact that she'd watch blitzball all night on her sphere. It seemed ever since she had gotten back from the Gullwings that she'd been lazing about.

Having little energy to accomplish anything.  Even the activities she used to enjoy seemed dull and listless to her. 

As she approached her house, she heard footsteps, "Buddy, if that's you, it ain't funny!" There was no reply, "Gippal?" She grew weary, having no clue what this man was doing, and really finding no amusement in it. She was about to scream for help in her native language.
